Our bees produce 2 batches of honey, in summer and autumn.

How’s honey made? In simple terms the bees extract pollen and nectar from surrounding flowers and plants with their long tongues and store it in their honey stomach. They carry it back to the hive where they release it into a beeswax comb, which has already been made by the worker bees. This process is repeated until the comb is full and it is then capped with wax to keep for storage until the honey is ready for harvesting.
